Utica, NY -- Upstate Family Health Center, Inc. proudly welcomes Andreea Mera as their new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
“Andreea’s ability to maximize operational efficiencies will position her to lead UFHC into the next phase.” said Board of Directors Chairperson Elizabeth Bowers. “Her experience in the healthcare industry will help to elevate our practices and procedures, which in turn will improve our quality of care for our patients.”
Andreea began her career in healthcare in 2012 at NYC Health+ Hospitals Corporation as Director of Administration in Medical and Professional Affairs. Throughout her years working for the NYC’s public hospital system, while pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business Masters of Science in Pharmacy Policy, she held various leadership roles, the most recent being Senior Director of Retail Pharmacy Services, Clinical Operations and Supply Chain. In this role, she achieved $37million in savings through implementation of hospital-wide transformation initiatives and process improvement methodologies.
