Utica, NY -- Upstate Family Health Center, Inc. is pleased to announce Lohrasb Ahmadian, MD, MPH, MSc, as their new Chief Medical Officer (CMO), effective immediately.

His extensive experience and leadership in healthcare make him a valuable addition to our team."
Most recently the CMO at K'ima:w Medical Center in Eureka, California, Dr. Ahmadian is a distinguished medical professional with a passion for providing primary care and chronic care to underserved and uninsured patients.
He has more than three decades of clinical and leadership experience in underserved communities in the US and overseas. Dr. Ahmadian received his MD from Tehran University School of Medicine and his Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University, New York. He also earned a Master's degree in Health Service Management from New York University (NYU). He is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine with two clinical and research fellowships at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Weill Cornell School of Medicine. He is a physician executive with extensive experience overseeing clinical and public health operations in underserved communities. His clinical, public health, and management training gave him a unique knowledge of different aspects of the healthcare equation. His practice style is based on a patient-centered approach and applying research findings to patients' individual and population health needs. His career in the United States has spanned both the east coast in New York and the west coast in California.
